*Job Description:* * Understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and Basel II/Pillar II in industry * Knowledge of major Risk Areas including Credit Risk, Market Risk and Liquidity Risk * Identifies organizations strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement * Exhibits confidence and extensive knowledge of Quant, Compliance and Basel II/ICAAP expertise consistently and effectively * Applies industry practices when solving business problems and pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets * Responsible for researching, analyzing, and communicating the requirements and impact of regulations effecting capital management and Pillar II reporting activities * Solid understanding of rapidly changing regulatory requirements such as Basel II /ICAAP, Supervisory Requirements & Dodd-Frank Act * Guides the Business Analysts in breaking down large and complex business requirements into functional/technical requirements that appropriately reflect the business target state need * Analyzes business requirements, breaking down complex subject matter into a simpler format to extract appropriate information to make conclusions in accordance of the business objective * Confirms business requirements are accurately identified in the documented technology requirements and will achieve compliance of Basel II/Pillar II * Reviews and edits requirements, functional design specifications, business processes and recommendations related to the proposed solution to assure high quality work products throughout the program * Assures consistency with validation routines of all project documentation produced * Oversees Pillar II Business Analysts supporting business and IT projects by leading, directing and monitoring requirements, providing business and technology based solutions * Facilitates effective team interaction * Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management * Supports coordination and delivery of horizontal "plug and play" program deliverables such as Standard, Policy and Procedures, Model Validation, Sustainability, Materiality and the Implementation Plan * Builds strong working relationships with LOB and Technology partners * Coordinates activities with developers, stakeholders, project managers and quality assurance team through the project schedule * Prepares, sends and reviews progress reports for project meetings and to be shared as determined appropriately with stakeholders Thanks & Regards, Kiran QSI Services Inc 5324 Twin Hickory Rd Ste 102/103 Glen Allen VA 23059 Tel 804 414 7907; Fax 866 297 2412 [email protected] SWaM Certification Number: 692311 Certification Approved Date: 03-09-2011 Certification Expiration Date: 03-09-2014 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SRAOSS REKS" group.
