We currently have a *3+ Months Contract* opportunity for a *Business Analyst - Global Clinical Operations* with our direct client located in *Cambridge, MA.* ******DIRECT CLIENT***** ****F2F Required******** *******Kindly send your resumes to [email protected] <[email protected]>****** *Job Summary: * Client is seeking a temporary Business Analyst (BA) to bridge the gap between the departure of permanent employee BA and the time it takes to hire a permanent employee replacement. The BA will be supporting the Global Clinical Operations (GCO) group. As such, it is crucial that the contract BA be ready to hit the ground running and have direct experience in the following areas: · Perceptive IMPACT CTMS (must have) · Interfacing with CRO for data integration (must have) and specifically Quintiles (nice to have) · Sylogent's Validated Clinical Trials Registry [VCTR] system (nice to have) · Informed Consent Form management (must have) and specifically StarLIMS systems (nice to have) The BA will collaborates with business process owners and subject matter experts to define, develop / configure, test and adopt new or enhanced information technology capabilities that support GCO operational and strategic goals. The incumbent must work closely with the business leadership, IT leadership, and peers to understand the capabilities required by the business, to assess the current state, and to develop requirements specifications that support the business strategy. *Responsibilities: * · Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, as appropriate. · Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. · Experience implementing and supporting validated, 21 CRF Part 11 compliant computer systems. · Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: User Requirements Specifications, Functional Specifications, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs, logical data models. · Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. · Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow. · Identify gaps between system capabilities and business requirements; and map capabilities to requirements to ensure that business needs are met. · Develop business area process models, activity diagrams and use cases, if required. · Coordinate the translation of business and user requirements into test conditions and expected results for user acceptance testing (UAT). · Develop and manage data to be utilized for UAT test cases. · Assist with the development and execution of change management and training throughout the organization during the Implementation of system solutions. · Understand project management and contribute to defining work plans and keeping track of progress. · Assist the Information Management / Technology Leaders and the PMO in coordinating, producing and tracking project deliverables. *Minimum Educational Requirements: * · Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Management or associated field required.
