Position*:* *Technical Business Analyst With SSIS , SSRS* Location: Fredrick, Maryland Duration: 06 Months+ Rate : $DOE/ hr C2C *GC or USC only !!!* *This is a Techincal BA that will be working in a SSIS, SSRS, Business Objects, Microstrategy* *Agile environment. This is also Capital Market but Capital Markets is not required. * *This BA must be technical as they will be working with Data Flow Diagrams* *Data Modeling and Microsoft Business Intelligence.* *Must have Agile. * *Job Description:* Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst that has worked in a Business Intelligence environment. This is a Microsoft Business Intelligence environment. Must be able to work with Data Flow Diagrams, Data Modeling and Agile is a must. Capital Markets is a plus. *Responsibilities:* - Responsible for providing analytical support for management decisions, and system support associated with Capital Market functions for accounting, reporting and diagnostics. - This includes recommending solutions for new reporting complexities, such as regulatory requirements, and in response to new initiatives. - This requires significant business knowledge combined with experience in highly complex processes maintained in various different applications. - Partner with CMFACA group managers and user base to assess business needs and ensure needs are properly aligned with the technical solutions. - Provide support of new functionality in relation to automation initiatives. - Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. - Position will partner with CMFACA, TOG and Data Program for appropriate solutions. - This position should gather, analyze, document and validate requirements in the form of user stories, EPICs or themes, conduct data analysis, prepare process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, build test plans, test cases, and test and document test results. *Qualifications: * - 6+ years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 3+ years directly applicable work experience. - In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with experience in Waterfall and Agile project methodologies. MUST have experience in creating user stories, EPIC and/or theme using Agile project methodologies. - Over 6 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis involving ETL projects. MUST be able to gather, analyze, document, validate and manage system requirements. - Over 5 years of Experience in building process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, data mapping and data dictionary documentation. - Over 5 years of years of experience in application and database design involving SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services and SQL server Reporting Services, Sharepoint/Web development experience. - Over 3 years of Experience in creating test plans, test cases, test data, testing and documenting the test results. - Expert in using Microsoft Office tools such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project. - Expert in modeling with Visio or other modeling tools in creating diagrams such as UML, Use Cases, DFDs, etc. - Must be team-oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
