Job Summary Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems, and centrally managed or virtual desktops. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership in order to provide a high level of service to the customers of the department. Minimum Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Active Directory Successful administration of a multiple domain environment, including: Scripted automation of account creation and access controls. PowerShell preferred, alternate scripting skills considered. Successful implementation experience with virtualization and maintenance of security compliance tools, auditing and verifying compliance of security settings throughout Active directory and on all networked servers, desktops and domain laptops. Use of RODC's and trust relationships to securely support SSO with partner organizations. Successful experience with user account migration between domains in a forest Experience in identifying application dependencies on AD, and testing and implementing upgrade of AD functional levels. Experience with AD administration in an enterprise of 1000 or more users. Microsoft Exchange Administration Experience administering and monitoring Microsoft Exchange for high availability Experience upgrading and migrating users between Exchange versions and environments Demonstrated Tier III troubleshooting ability and knowledge of AD/Exchange interaction, including knowledge of Kerberos and schema modification Virtualization and VDI experience Experience managing and maintaining a Vsphere environment, including virtualized servers running MS-SQL, Sharepoint, file and print services. Successful implementation of a VDI infrastructure, Citrix Xen Desktop preferred. *Mainframe Developer* *Baltimore MD* *Long Term* *Rate $45/hr* Required Skills: Prior experience in mainframe application development accessing DB2 databases.
