Kindly review the requirement and if interested send me an updated copy of your resume ASAP. *Job Title: Sr. JBOSS Administrator with Strong Unix and Control Version* *Location: **Indianapolis IN* *Duration: **6-12 months* *Job Summary: *Responsible for the operation and support of JBoss Application Server platforms, Linux/UNIX platforms, and other J2EE software products. Furthermore, the Administrator will troubleshoot platform issues and support the build and deploy of code, and resolving any infrastructure problems. Other duties include monitoring production environment, tuning J2EE application servers to optimize performance, participating in production problem calls, and stabilizing and improving JVM performance. *Responsibilities and Duties: * 1. Participate in the design and implementation of new JBoss platforms. Ensure design meets application development team requirements. Ensure platform complies with team standards and IT policies and procedures. 2. Deploy applications to production and non-production environments. Troubleshoot application server issues related to the platform. Create support tickets and work with vendors as needed. 3. Manage the daily operation of JBoss Application Server. Monitor resource utilization, including such items as CPU, memory, and disk utilization. Report on system utilization and plan/implement recommended maintenance as required. Perform impact analysis for appropriate tasks. 4. Work with other teams in the design and configuration of secure access to JBoss resources. 5. Apply and promote patches. 6. Develop, test, and implement automation scripts. 7. Support day-to-day data integration through WebServices, JBoss JMS operations with our partners and clients, including identifying any technical problems with inbound/outbound transmissions. 8. Troubleshoot and research problems through log file mining and analysis. 9. Work with Developers and Database Administrators in the implementation of new applications. Identify impact to capacity. 10. Maintain documentation related to infrastructure and architecture of web systems. 11. Produce project related documentation and provide estimates to the Project Lead or Manager for work to be completed. 12. Assist in recommendations for disaster recovery of web environments. 13. Become familiar with IT operations and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
