*please find the below JD and let me know if you have any right resource * *F2F INTERVIEW REQUIRED IN EVERY CASE --- WITHOUT EXCEPTION. * *PowerBuilder Developer* *Dallas, Texas 75235* *18 months project* · *Job Description:* Significant Java is a PLUS but not required the new applications that are being built are in Java. · PowerBuilder 10.5 or Higher is required. · Sybase v 15 backend. Other versions may work but 15 would be ideal. Two tier architecture. · These resources will be working on two different projects – Ops recovery program where they will be helping with retirement of a PowerBuilder application that is 15 years old. The other project is the retirement of the Cargo Application. They will not be building new functionality they are strictly retiring these two applications. They will be writing code to either delete or create conditions to stop executing code in the old system. They will be doing a lot of research on what needs to be done to retire these applications. (This is usual in these projects) · No one less than 5 years’ experience with PowerBuilder. · Phone first then F2F interviews soon. Want to schedule onsites for next week. · The manager will only discussing PowerBuilder in the interview. · Primary communication will be with customers – so good communication skills are KEY. *Responsibility* Designs, develops, tests and implements application changes within PowerBuilder/Sybase · Meets weekly with system users to determine requirements and to design solutions for business problems. · Works with team members to plan out the workload and schedule. · Updates stored procedures as needed. · Follows established procedures and protocols to support the development life cycle. · Analyzes problems to determine root causes, and to design corrections. · Provides programming and design services. · Collaborate with SME, Developers, Programmers, Analysts and designers in conceptualizing, developing and testing of new software programs, databases and applications. · Programming as needed to modify systems for enhancement of current processes or establishment of new processes · Develop Code Logic as needed · Following Environments required: · PowerBuilder ( Version 8/9/10.5/12/12.5) (Five years) · Sybase (Three years) · Microsoft Applications · Windows Environment *Ability To:* · Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates. · Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, co-workers and system users. · Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people. · Ability to establish work and resource priorities. · Ability to communicate orally in a clear manner.
