*Hyperion Planning Administrator *
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 3 months contract
Rate : $55 /hr on C2C all inclusive
*Detailed Description *
· Primary responsibility is to provide administration and user
support for the Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Financial Reporting
applications, including month end close, budget/forecast cycle
administration, first point of contact for WW Planning user support,
granting user security access, etc.
· Scheduling and/or performing Planning maintenance items, such as
password rotation and test environment refreshes, liaising with IT and
Finance groups as appropriate
· Provide project management on Finance systems projects, including
working with the business to identify solutions,e define projects and
associated timelines, hold stakeholder meetings and communicate progress of
the project
· Act as the finance liaison with the Data Warehouse team working
production support analyses and facilitate month-end close process and Cube
tie outs
· Provide worldwide training for the Finance community on finance
information flows, reporting tools (Planning, Essbase, Discoverer,
SharePoint) and reporting processes (cube expert)
· Identify and help gather requirements on new Hyperion projects
and managing them through implementation once approved
· Perform regular assessment of Hyperion system performance,
identifying any issues along with action plans to address
· Perform quarterly security reviews for S404 compliance
· Act as liaison for Xilinx Finance with Hyperion, providing
leadership on evaluating new product offerings and evaluating timing for
upgrades. Participate in the Hyperion community, such as User Groups and
Oracle events, to stay up to date on the latest product offerings and best
in class solutions
· Work on special projects within FBIC (Finance Business
Information Center) on financial system initiatives, performing overall
project management on specific assignments
· Provide financial support and ad hoc analysis for various
Corporate Planning projects as needed
*Job Requirements*
Minimum requirements include:
· Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems
· Strong financial system skills (Oracle ERP, Excel, Essbase, SQL,
Access) and general aptitude for comprehending IT systems
· Strong Finance and Accounting skills
· Strong problem solving, analytical and financial modeling skills
are required
· Strong interpersonal skills to successfully interact with diverse
customers across Finance & IT
· Sound fundamental knowledge of Finance and business processes and
excellent problem solving skills.
· Must be a very responsive individual with high degree of
accountability to meet tight deadlines
Preference items include:
· 3-5 years of Hyperion Planning and Essbase experience; version 9
or 11 preferred
· 3-5 years work experience in a financial planning & analysis role
· Experience with Oracle ERP
· *Semiconductor experience a plus*
