Position *:* *Ruby on Rails developers*Location: Washington, DC Duration: 06 Months+ Ruby on Rails developers are needed to work on an exciting, fast paced project in the Washington, DC area. The developers will work in an Agile Scrum team environment on full lifecycle projects. The systems environment is quickly evolving and cutting edge. The development environment leverages technology from the open source Hydra project, as well as Solr/Lucene, Python and JavaScript. Java expertise and working in a Linux environment are desirable. The developers will be involved in evaluating user requests, analyzing requirements, developing technical specifications, performing feasibility analysis, developing analytic applications and data management solutions and assisting users to solve operational problems.
