*Position : Mid-Level - Business Analyst;* *Job Location: Tysons, Virginia, United States* *Duration : Long Term* *Job Description: * · Gather, analyze and document requirements · Build test cases for internal and customer testing during User Acceptance Testing · Perform functional analysis on issues reported to the HERMIT HelpDesk · Perform reconciliations between HERMIT Modules · Support month-end and year-end closing · Support the full lifecycle implementation of system improvements, upgrades, and defect fixes · Attend status meetings and present the status of the project · Interact with the client to refine business processes and procedures · Support end-user training Required Experience Knowledge of the theories, concepts, principles, and practices of the mortgage industry in particular reverse mortgages · Management experience – lead a team of 2 to 4 a plus · Knowledge of SDLC · Ability to understand functional and technical requirement documentation and to evaluate and test the system for compliance with requirements · Skill in developing new system requirements · Skill in systems trouble-shooting and problem resolution · Ability to translate user data needs and reporting requirements into data queries, problem reports, or program specifications · Proficiency in oral and written communications · Ability to maintain proper internal control focus when resolving system issues. · Experience with Change Management Processes · In depth experience with analysis of issues that occur in an Operational environment · Working in a challenging Operational environment *Required Skills: * · 6 years of Analysis experience, preferably in a Federal environment · 2 to 3 years in a lead/management role supporting life cycle implementations of software systems with specific experience in the following areas: o Reverse Mortgage Loans or Servicing platforms. o Development of functional specifications along with testing experience o Post go-live system operations support o Interacting with Multiple Sub Contractors o Bachelor’s degree in a systems-related field of study or n equivalent o Strong written and verbal communication skills o PMP is a plus *Preferred Skills:* · 2 years of working with Reconciliation of data between various systems · 2 Years of Claims processing experience · 2 years of Reverse Mortgage experience · 2 years of Audit experience (Financial Auditing a Plus) *Internal Skills: * · Major Duties: Financial Industry experience, Loan Servicing and reverse mortgage experience a plus.
