Role : peopleSoft Financial Experts

Location : Houston



Keys to PS Financials (Global, multi-currency experience required).
Excellent testing, documentation and upgrade experience is required.
Excellent communication skills and local candidate preferred.  Prefer local
candidates but will consider traveling consultants if they work a MINIMUM
of 4 full days in the Office.



Keys to Manufacturing role—MUST have 9.2 experience and exceptional
troubleshooting and ticket resolution skills.  This is a very messy system
that was implemented and has major complications due to massive
modifications that were never documented during initial implementation.
This is a VERY long term need and will go indefinitely.  You will have to
see what these candidates cost and let me know.    Traveling consultants
are fine and any Visa status is fine.





*PeopleSoft Financials Experts for PS 9.2 Upgrade - IMMEDIATE*

*Position Summary*

Great, Global Company in Houston is seeking experienced *Functional
PeopleSoft Financials Experts* with strong functional implementation and
upgrade experience to manage PS *9.2 upgrade*. These are URGENT positions
that will fill quickly as it supports the primary business of the company.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a high profile group
with direct impact to the company’s primary business!

NOTE – Preference is for local candidates or consultants who can reside
locally during the contract period, but traveling candidates will certainly
be considered.  This is a 6+ month minimum, open-ended contract that can go
on indefinitely!





*Duties & Responsibilities*

·         Produce Audit satisfying documentation for all testing
requirements based on company standards and process

·         Ability to do unit, system, regression, and UAT Testing at all
levels of Upgrade

·         Understand upgrade functionality and be able to Troubleshoot and
resolve issues

·         Utilize knowledge of 9.X functionality to offer alternative
solutions to existing design, architecture, and customizations

·         Track and maintain documentation regarding all issues and
resolutions

·         Work closely with all members of internal and external upgrade
team

·         Interface with all business groups to resolve issues including
data quality, reporting, and system performance



*Requirements*

·         *Very Strong Functional* Knowledge of minimum two of the
following *PeopleSoft FINANCIALS* modules is required:



o    General Ledger, Project Costing, Asset Management, Expenses, Accounts
Receivable, Billing, Contracts, Order Management, Accounts Payable, Cash
Management

***Plus/preference given to those having strong knowledge of 6 or more of
these modules



·         Knowledge of additional PS financial modules is a plus

·         Must have a very strong and highly detailed knowledge of
PeopleSoft 9.X, with 5 or more years of experience on PeopleSoft version
8.8 or higher (FINANCIALS, not SCM) and preference will be for candidates
with 9.1 and 9.2 upgrade experience

·         *Global implementation* required and direct knowledge and
experience with *multi-currency* implementations and/or upgrades- Knowledge
of multiple international currencies in PeopleSoft Financials is preferred

·         Works with little supervision / independently

·         Relies on guidelines, established or evolving to perform
functions of this job

·         *Strong* verbal and written communication skills are *required*—this
will be a heavily customer-facing position and will require extensive,
clear communication to both peers as well as upper management

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks as
necessary as well as work well within a multi-team, interactive environment.



*Project Duration:*

·         6 months+ minimum-- open-ended

o    (Note, for local candidates or more perm-minded candidates, these
positions do have a possibility of going perm for the right candidates).





*PeopleSoft Manufacturing Functional Analyst*

*Excellent Global company with primary corporate office located in Houston
is seeking an experience PeopleSoft Manufacturing Module Functional Analyst
with strong overall trouble-shooting, analysis, resolution and support
experience for either a contract, contract to hire or (ideally) a permanent
position for their critical PeopleSoft implementation in the Supply Chain
Group.*



*This is an urgent role as this company’s primary business is in
Manufacturing and this Analyst will be a very valuable asset to the SCM
group and the company as a whole.*



*Position Summary:*

The *PeopleSoft Manufacturing Functional Analyst* will provide functional
support for PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management Solutions administration,
configuration, maintenance, project management and implementation.  The
successful candidate will have exceptional knowledge of PeopleSoft
out-of-the-box functionality with best practice knowledge of Manufacturing.
This is a will be a very knowledgeable Functional Analyst with heavy focus
on the Manufacturing module and understand its’ relationship to SCM as a
whole. This role will initially evaluate a complexly modified module,
evaluate what the enhancements have been, what is and isn’t working,
evaluate the best route to take to correct issues and provide documentation
for technical team to make appropriate changes.  The position will then
provide support that includes administration, configuration and maintenance
of the software; implementing new applications; designing current system
enhancements; and upgrade testing and support.

*Primary Role & Responsibilities:*

Include the following but other duties may be assigned:

   - Liaison between the functional users of PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft
   Development to ensure the system is meeting the business needs of the
   organization
   - Exceptional knowledge of *PeopleSoft SCM* modules (*Manufacturing*)
   - Configuration/setup of modules to Oceaneering specifications
   - Oversee the system testing of assigned modules
   - Develop user training documentation
   - Trainer for selected modules
   - Participate in implementation/upgrade teams
   - Provide continuous user support
   - Provide direction and development support for less experienced
   employees
   - Some travel required, possibly
   international.

*Required Education and Experience:*



·         BBA or BBS preferred, but not required with 6+ years’ experience
in *PeopleSoft Manufacturing*

·         4+ years’ experience in PeopleSoft application support,
implementation or upgrades of Manufacturing

·         Experience with *People Soft 9.2 required*

·         Proven ability to define problems, collect and analyze data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with strong ability to
interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in
mathematical/diagram  form and deal with several abstract and concrete
variables
