A Texas State Agency is seeking assistance with data conversion *from Lotus
Notes 8.5 into SQL Server 2005 database*. There are about 800,000 records
in about 35 Lotus Notes 8.5 databases. All of those records have two to
three columns that need to be exported as binary - meaning that all
formatting and data characterizations are maintained - to ensure that
nothing is lost with the transition. Additionally, there are approximately
30,000 records that have one or more attachments (in various file formats)
associated with them. These attachments also need to be exported in binary
form. The Agency will have the SQL Server tables already defined for the
data conversion above. Respondent will be responsible for populating them
from the converted data.

For a Successful Respondent, this will include:
· Working knowledge of Lotus Notes 8.5 database and their attachments.
· Working knowledge of SQL Server 2005 database.
· Assisting with the implementation of these practices and standards where
possible.
· Provide the data conversion solutions and methodology to the Agencies
programmers, so the Agencies programmers can continue to convert other
Lotus Notes data in the near future.
· Logging of successful records as well as the error log during the data
conversion.
