Please help to fill below requirement:- VMWare/UCS Admin St Louis, MO 6+months *ROLE SUMMARY:* The Infrastructure Services team within IT works closely with the various business units to build and deliver infrastructure to support the growing needs. This candidate will act as a member of Infrastructure Services Middleware Delivery team as a VMWare-UCS Administrator. The candidate will handle support activities for: o ESX hosts/Virtual Center support - including VMotions, Storage Vmotions, ESX hosts upgrades, Virtual Center upgrades, storage management, and Linux scripting, o Cisco UCS - including firmware and capacity maintenance o EMC Clariion / Brocade - including firmware upgrades, storage allocation, volume management, performance analysis, troubleshooting, o NetApp - including share export, establishing quotas, managing day-to-day operations on NetApp filers, and performance monitoring. The candidate will get exposure to cross team/cross region collaboration across US and India. This role will also help to improve procedures and monitoring, and will work on process automation tasks / scripts. This position requires a high degree of teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn and share knowledge about UNIX Servers. They will need to be an energetic, self motivated individual who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. They must be committed to Customer Service. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: University degree - B.Tech/BS/MCA/B.Sc(Computers) SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE NEEDED: ESXi - vSphere 5 Support o Administration expertise utilizing Virtual Center, including vSphere Command-Line Interface commands. o Ability to troubleshoot DRS Cluster errors with shares, pools, and limits o Ability to troubleshoot HA Cluster errors with slot calculations, admission control, and host monitoring o Capable of troubleshooting ESX host issues with VMware, independent of St Louis Support staff o Hardware administration experience on Dell and Cisco server hardware o NFS Administration knowledge o Capable of monitoring, configuring and diagnosing storage access issues with EMC CLARiiON and NetApp NAS Storage to View, configure, and diagnose storage access problems o Knowledge of Change management, incident management process UCS - B series Support o UCSM 1.4(3q) or later Administration expertise, including command line administration of fabric interconnect switches. o Ability to troubleshoot Cisco hardware issues, resulting from FSM alerts and log analysis. o Ability to provision all UCS pod components , including fabric interconnects, Chassis, Blades, Service Profiles, address pools (MAC/SAN), policies and templates. o UCS Hardware maintenance knowledge, including BIOS, Drivers and firmware updates. o Demonstrate understanding of access management options and implementation skills for UCSM access management. o UCSM Powershell scripting experience to automate provisioning, monitoring and administration. o Provide examples of how stateless computing, inherent to UCS, increases virtual server availability.
