Have partitions start at 2048.

Disk geometry can't be trusted anymore, so just start at 1MiB.

Then, make sure that there's no other partition already hanging
around there.  MBR_shrink takes care of this.  If there's
another partition, try to start at the next power of 2 boundary.
To make sure we're not blocking another partition now,
call MBR_shrink again.
