Hello, SRFI contributors and friends. Today marks the start of the fifth decade of Scheme, which was first announced on this date in 1975 in MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab Memo 349, *Scheme: An Interpreter for Extended Lambda Calculus* (PDF <https://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/1721.1/5794/AIM-349.pdf>). And the SRFI process reached twenty-six years on September 26th.
I am grateful to everyone who has contributed to Scheme this year, including all SRFI authors, implementers, reviewers, contributors, readers, and critics, and to your families and loved ones.
