Ok, I'm reading through the man page on ssh-keygen for ssh-1.2.26
and it says:

"host keys must have empty passphrase"

Ok, maybe I'm missing something, but why would you NOT want to
password protect your host key? Isn't that something you WOULD
want to passphrase protect?

Any ideas? Pardon my boneheadedness.. :)
