Hi again,
look at this:
jeanpaul has ssh-2.0.12 and linux RedHat 5.1
bighal has ssh-2.0.11 and SunOS bighal 5.6 Generic sun4u sparc
I type my password and ... this happens
>[azrael@jeanpaul azrael]$ ssh2 bighal
>azrael's password:
>
>Disconnected; protocol error (Protocol error: packet too long: 1473053511.).
once again but now I type a wrong password
>[azrael@jeanpaul azrael]$ ssh2 bighal
>azrael's password:
>
>Disconnected; protocol error (Protocol error: packet too long: -208130204.).
But when use the pubkey authentication method, i.e., when I generate my
own keys and use them to connect again...
First without error in my security phrase...
>[azrael@jeanpaul azrael]$ ssh2 bighal
>Passphrase for key "/home/azrael/.ssh2/id_dsa_1024_a" with comment "1024-bit dsa,
>created by >azrael@jeanpaul Tue Mar 9 10:22:081999":
>Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.5.1 Generic May 1996
>
>Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.5.1 Generic May 1996
>
>bighal: ~$
and now with a wrong security phrase...
>[azrael@jeanpaul azrael]$ ssh2 bighal
>Passphrase for key "/home/azrael/.ssh2/id_dsa_1024_a" with comment "1024-bit dsa,
>created by >azrael@jeanpaul Tue Mar 9 10:22:081999":
>
>Disconnected; protocol error (Protocol error: packet too long: 1681186922.).
