Greetings all:

Thought I'd pass along this info. As I was testing various options in the
sshd2_config file (v2.0.12, Solaris 5.5), when I turned "Verbose Mode" to
yes, I was unable to ssh in. Using "top", I saw the daemon start, then I
got a "Disconnect: Protocol Error; Packet too long" type message on the
requesting host and the daemon on the server host dies.

Now, I use "ssh -v" by default and have never had a problem...only when
it's run by the daemon. This is not critical stuff, but is there an
obvious answer/clue or is it a bug?

Replies Welcome,

Chris
