Is anybody aware that ssh does not obey settings in /etc/default/login?
On Solaris, in /etc/default/login, setting CONSOLE=/dev/console prevents
users from using telnet and rsh to login as root. I noticed that ssh
doesn't care and still allows root to login in.
Is this an oversight? Or are we to assume that ssh is so secure that
it's OK to do this?
thanks
