I am wondering what type of Windows ssh clients others are using and
whether their clients are able to handle PF keys. I have installed Tera
Term Pro 2.3 and have also heard of Data Fellows.
I am having a problem with keymapping in Tera Term. First I will
mention that my key map files all have the file type of "SpeedDial"
instead of text.(?) Second, none of the included key maps handle PF
keys in my ssh session (e.g., the PF1, PF3, etc. used by SMIT). I bring
the ibm keymap into Notepad and edit the VT Function Keys section to
include the necessary PF keys:
=======
[VT function keys]
Hold=off
Print=off
Break=off
PF1=59
PF2=60
PF3=61
PF4=62
PF5=63
;F6 key
F6=64
;F7 key
F7=65
;F8 key
F8=66 ...etc.
=========
I commented out the F keys with the PF values in the X Function Key
section. -However, PF keys still don't work if I use this new keymap.
Does anyone have any idea why this isn't working for me? Has anyone
been able to get PF keys to work in Tera Term? Does anyone know if PF
keys work in Data Fellows? Any idea why my keymap file types are
'SpeedDial' and whether that could be causing a problem?
Many thanks,
