Is there any way to make sshd1 (ex. ssh-1.2.27) log remote address host
as IP in wtmp not as 'ble.ble.com' ?
I'm experiencing some difficulties resolving hosts which have longer names
than 16 (wtmp->ut_host[UT_HOSTSIZE] UT_HOSTSIZE=16). My who command
freezes for a minute, because it can't resolve 'ble.bla.blo.blu', (where
it should be 'ble.bla.blo.blu.com').
Sshd2, on the contrary, logs IP address of the remote host, which in my
opinion is better.
Maybe someone made a patch for it ? Or maybe it can be set in confg.h ?
