Maybe you can find DMZ (apple utility) and see if there are any differences between the netatalk and Macs which do respond correctly (number of daemons running - afpd,...) Also check what MacLan looks like to DMZ. Set debugging on the Linux netatalk and get some diagnostics of a Mac logging on/off and then the MacLaned PC. If there are differences, perhaps the MacLan people would like a look at the debug output. Possibly they have a debug trigger feature within MacLan which they will share with you to get more information. Good Luck BobG
