I think that the error message tells you that the host "blah blah",
which refuses the ssh - connection, has no sshd - daemon running to
accept your ssh-request. Since your ssh-shell does not receive the
expected answer it tries to connect to the standard rsh-port. Be sure
that the sshd - daemon is running on blah blah.
