You can request a precompiled binary at http://smc.vnet.net/
There are a number of precompiled packages there, however
SSH isn't one of them.

Most install in either /usr/local or /opt, which you will
undoubtedly need root access to do. Of course you could always
pkgtrans the package and just pull out the binaries you need.
