Does anybody know why I am not able to use SSH2 version 2.0.13 when I have
shadow-passwords
enabled on my Linux RedHat 6.0 system ?
I first installed SSH2 and a few days later I installed the
shadow-utilities for my Linux system.
When I now try to connect using ssh, at a time where I have my /etc/passwd
file
shadowed to /etc/shadow ( with 'pwconv' ), I get an 'authentification
error', I don't get in.
When I DON'T use shadow passwords ( 'pwunconv' ) there is no problem and I'm
allowed to login !!!
Does anybody know how I can use SSH2 in combination with shadow passwords ??
Hope someone has a solution.
