We're running SSH 1.2.27 on Solaris 2.6 machines. Everything seems to work fine with X-forwarding and tcp-wrapper support until a machine is rebooted. The X-forwarding dies with error messages in the logs to the effect: Dec 7 10:58:04 bubba sshd[793]: NIS+ server for hosts.org_dir.apl.psu.edu. not responding, still trying Using full ssh the session hangs, but connection is possible with "ssh -x" without the X-forwarding. I usually just stop and start the sshd daemon and normal connections are possible again. I tried adding another rc script in rc3.d as well as the original S88sshd script in rc2.d, to do this daemon restart at bootup automatically at the end of all other startup scripts, but no luck. I have to do it manually after the machine is fully up. Anyone know the cause of this or a solution? -- Jeff Bailey [EMAIL PROTECTED]
