Im running ssh 1-2-26, on Red Hat 6.0, on an Amd k7500 sys. In order to
get ssh 1-2-26 to work on RH6.0 I need to patch it by removing:
#define HAVE_UTMPX_H 1
in config.h
NOW, HERE'S MY PROBLEM:
Im only having problems ussing SSH1 to and from my RH6.0 systems. When I

try to scp from one sys to another I get the message back unable to use
RSA encryption. I have my identity.pub key in my authorized_hosts file,
so technically I should have pure RSA authentication and not need a
password to login. Has anyone experienced this with RH6.0? or have any
answers? It works fine in my SuSe sys.
