Hello,
I need to provide secure access over the internet to serial ports of a
Linux machine and I'd like to modify SSHD to be able to accept SSH
connections, authenticate users, and if authentication is successfully
provide a direct connection to the serial port (encrypting the data going
over the internet, of course).

The codebase for SSH is not small and I havn't been able to find a
general overview of how it fits together. Could someone give me any hints as
to what parts of SSHD need to be modified and what a good way of going about
this may be?

Thanks in advance for your help!
