I read the following shortly after my subscription was approved:
This list is for discussion about ssh (Secure Shell), a remote login
program that supports strong authentication, IDEA encryption, secure
X11 forwarding, and TCP/IP forwarding. This list is primarily
intended for people who are willing to contribute to the development
of ssh by testing beta versions, contributing patches or code, writing
documentation, or making suggestions about improvements. The volume
of this list has recently been around ten messages per day.
With that in mind, I have recently installed v1.2.27. Due to my
organizational structure, this is the version that my management feels
comfortable with. Because this isn't a beta version, is the proper forum to
discuss configuration issues and general technical questions? Is there
another listserver forum that is more appropriate?
