I've got ssh2 (version 2.1.0) installed on a few AIX machines here; 2
installs on AIX 4.2.1 and one install on 4.3.2. There's no problem
ssh'ing to get a terminal session on any of the machines. However, if
I try to sftp2 into one of the AIX 4.2.1 machines, either with the
F-Secure sftp client or on the command line, I get the following error:
========
/usr/bin/ksh:  stp-server:  not found
=======
     On the command line, I get the additional msg:
======
Warning: child process (ssh2) exited with code 127.
=============
One of the 4.2.1 machines is going to be used as an "official" file
transfer box for folks outside the University, and so I have to get this
working. Apparently, there's also a problem upgrading it to 4.3.2.
This should work anyway on 4.2.1. The configuration, profiles, etc.
are the same on all machines.
   --Is anyone else out there using sftp2 on AIX 4.2.1 successfully?
Or does anyone have any ideas why my sftp2 isn't working? Please
email:  [EMAIL PROTECTED]
thanks a bunch!  Vicki
