Thanks to whoever set up this list, I'm finding it quite useful -and-
reassuring to know I'm not the only one with problems and more importantly
solutions.
This may not be strictly ssh related however I believe the answers may be
of interest to others using ssh in a similar position.
Background:
I've been asked to set up access to a Unix server with a Common Desktop
Environment interface using X11 forwarding over SSH.
SSH2 is just about set up on the server (I can use an SSH2 client from
Windows to gain a SSH'd telnet style connection), X11 forwarding seems to be
working as I can run xclock and get a display in eXceed running on the pc
from which I initiate the SSH connection.
I feel like I'm nearly there, so can anyone point me in the right direction
for what I need to do to start a CDE so it will be displayed on the local X
server?
