I've installed openssh 2.1.0p3 on two machines running redhat. One has redhat 6.0 and sshd installed and runs fine. The other has redhat 6.2 and sshd does not work so well: Whenever someone logging in via ssh enters their password, I get this error in syslog: PAM_pwdb[942]: get passwd; pwdb; request not recognized sshd[942]: Failed password from ropkdan at 192.168.0.3 port 2755 I followed the same steps on both installations and both machines have the same /etc/ssh/sshd_config and /etc/pam.d/sshd files. Any help would be much appreciated.
