Thanks.
I will wait for a officially correction from Tridge...

Another probleme is using "ssh dump ... | dd ...".

Look the output I got sometimes:
------------
[6] dump 1 de nsfwsp:/usr
------------
DUMP: Date of this level 1 dump: Wed Jun 7 20:38:19 2000
DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: Fri Dec 31 09:38:29 1999
DUMP: Dumping /dev/vg00/rlvol7 (/usr) to standard output
DUMP: This is an HP long file name filesystem
DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
DUMP: estimated 4412 tape blocks on 0.00 tape(s).
  DUMP: dumping (Pass III) [directories]
DUMP: dumping (Pass IV) [regular files]
0+544 records in
0+544 records out

The comment for the end of the dump is missing and maybe the dump itself
is incorrect!.
With a correct output you must read:
------------
[6] dump 1 de nsfwsp:/usr
------------
DUMP: Date of this level 1 dump: Mon Jun 12 20:39:42 2000
DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: Fri Dec 31 09:38:29 1999
DUMP: Dumping /dev/vg00/rlvol7 (/usr) to standard output
DUMP: This is an HP long file name filesystem
DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
DUMP: estimated 4426 tape blocks on 0.00 tape(s).
  DUMP: dumping (Pass III) [directories]
DUMP: dumping (Pass IV) [regular files]
DUMP: DUMP: 4556 tape blocks on 1 tape(s)

DUMP: DUMP: /dev/vg00/rlvol7 has 0 inodes with unsaved optional acl
entries
  DUMP: DUMP IS DONE
DUMP: Date of completion of this level 1 dump: Mon Jun 12 20:40:06
2000
0+568 records in
0+568 records out

For several days, I resolve the probleme adding a stupid command with no
output after the 'dump':

$REMOTE "$DUMP $partition ; sleep 1" | dd of=${TAPE}n bs=32k

Everything is now correct, but a real ssh 1.2.27 update will be the good
solution :-)
