help with ssh file xfer

i have just started working with ssh.  i have the ssh win95 terminal client
working, but the file transfer fails with "failed to open a secure file
transfer session."  this is probably an overlooked setting somewhere.  can
some one suggest what to do?


linux slackware 4.0
openssh-2.1.0
ssh win95 2.2.0
