^^^^^ verify it, replace "would" with "does" and file bug
report to OpenSSH. I myself don't run OpenSSH (at least not for the
moment)...

Well, it's all about making a choice. In worst case you would have to
choose between applying two line patch or irritate guts of your Mac
users:-)
