Good Evening,

I'm working with SSH to get remote X11 forwarding working. My client is an
openBSD 2.7 box and the server is a Mandrake 7.1 box.

Both machines are running openSSH. I've edited both ssh_config and sshd_config
files on both systems to enable X11 Forwarding. The end product is:
 1) the openBSD machine can ssh to itself and the linux box. SSHing to either
    machine will set the envvar DISPLAY to the appropriate X display.
 2) when executing Xapps while sshed into openBSD they work fine. But when
    I do the same while connected to the Linux box I get...

$ ssh 192.168.1.3
[EMAIL PROTECTED]'s password:
Last login: Thu Feb 13 00:04:23 1997 from mecca
[jsc@pasha jsc]$ xterm
channel 0: istate 4 != open
channel 0: ostate 64 != open
X connection to pasha.penet:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
[jsc@pasha jsc]$

Any idea what this is and how to fix it?

Thanks,
 Jeff Clement
