Hello,
I have ssh 1.2.27 installed successfully on a new SUN Solaris 2.7 host. All RSA
authentication have been setup correctly with other UNIX hosts able to ssh
remotely execute commands.
My problem is this new SUN host with hostname HOSTB has its filessystems
remotely backup by another UNIX server hostname HOSTA, the remote backup is
working but it takes a long time e.g 2.5GB takes 7.5hrs.
This new SUN host actually replacing an old SUN machine name HOSTC which is
phasing out, the backup server HOSTA used to remotely backup this old machine
and the performance was very good with 2GB took only 2.5hrs. This old SUN also
used ssh 1.2.27 and the ssh configuration is exactly the same for both new and
old SUN hosts.
On the backup server end we have the ssh -c blowfish option which meant to speed
up the transfer but it didn't!
Any suggestion is much appreciated.
Thanks very much.
