SSH 1.2.29 error

I am compiling SSH 1.2.29 on Solaris 2.6. I receive the following error while running the configuration script.
 
configure: error: configuring with X but xauth not found - aborting
 
I believe this could be due to couple of things. Either the configuration script source for the xauth portion is incorrect, or my environment source path for xauth is incorrect.
 
Any suggestions for a remedy to this problem?
