Hello,
I have recently installed the following:

SSH Version OpenSSH_2.1.1, protocol versions 1.5/2.0.
Compiled with SSL (0x0090581f).

All the binaries ssh-agent, ssh-add ssh-add -l all seem to take a minute or
more to complete and return my prompt. This is kind of annoying and I am
wondering if maybe I have something configured or compiled incorrectly.
Also why is it that SSH seems to rely on the ld.so.1 in the /etc/lib
directory instead of the /usr/lib directory ? There doesn't seem to be
anything in the documentation explaining that the LD_LIBRARY_PATH needs to
be updated in one's shell start up files. Also what should the permissions
be on the /etc/lib directory unless its o+g and o+x it seems that the ssh
binaries will fail. I am hoping someone could shed some light on this for
me. Thanks in advance.
