Hi Mark,
Yes, I did get it to work on this version of Caldara, but this is a very
old version still using the lib5 stuff and an old kernel, so you will want
to upgrade.
Be sure you do the following as root in the kernal directory:
# cd /usr/src/linux
# make deps; make clean
before you try to compile anything. I don't know why this should make any
differance with SSH, but it seems to often. What this does is creates all
the kernel dependancy files for any other program that needs them to
compile correctly.
I had no problem compiling ssh on theat version, but it was probably
ssh-1.2.27. You can just add the version info on the command line of
./configure also.
