Target system, SUn E420R running Solaris 7 11/99 with latest patch
cluster.

I have installed and have OPIE working.

I can compile and get OpenSSH to work by itself.

I applied the OPIE patch for OpenSSH, and OpenSSH compiles fine and
seems to run, but I can not get a challenge/response when I ssh to the
box if I SSH as myself.

The following is, ssh to box, login as self, su to root.

        dcress% ssh 361u
        dcress@361u's password:
Warning: Remote host denied X11 forwarding, perhaps xauth program could
not be run on the server side.
Last login: Wed Aug 16 16:21:04 from dcress.turner.c

Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.7 Generic October 1998
        atlcn162$ su -
        otp-md5 997 at9198 ext
        root's response:

This seems to indicate that OpenSSH and OPIE as separate parts are
working fine.

This is me SSH'ing to the box as myself but causing SSH to log me in as
root, not OpenSSH and OPIE work together fine.

        dcress% ssh -l root 361u
        root@361u's password:
Warning: Remote host denied X11 forwarding, perhaps xauth program could
not be run on the server side.
        otp-md5 997 at9198 ext
        Response:

I need OpenSSH to always issue a challenge/response.

Thank you for any help you can give me.
