I can confirm this behaviour:
Client and server version is 2.3.0. Log in to one of our servers
(linux and solaris/{sparc/x86}), type nothing and simply wait.
After a while I get:
remotehost->Host key not found from database.
Key fingerprint:
xeten-fusoz-sevuc-rylap-nylal-mytot-fahev-gyhaz-kupil-vifoc-guxex
You can get a public key's fingerprint by running
% ssh-keygen -F publickey.pub
on the keyfile.
FATAL: sshreadline.c:1778 SshReadLine ssh_readline_eloop_internal Precondition failed:
rl
localhost->
This is clearly a bug in 2.3.0. (a severe one IMHO!)
Any help is greatly appriciated.
Greetings
Markus
