Well, that's interesting!  The first thing I did when I got SSH-2.3.0
was point it to my 1.0.6 Kerberos libraries.  But then configure 
complained that it couldn't find the krb5_auth_con_init routine in
libkrb5 (which it tests for in deciding if Kerberos is installed).  So,
that's when I decided to use the 1.2.1 libraries, with the problems I
have described.
