Problem with backspace key when sftp a file from Unix to Unix server

Hi all,

Whenever I use the backspace key at the "sftp>" prompt, the ssh session
frozen and I had to close the session.  Does anyone experience this
problem?.   Environment: AIX 4.3.3, SSH 2.2.0.  Thanks.
