Well I'm not exactly sure what was wrong, but it works now. The hostkey
file was there and it did have the right file permissions, but I created
a new one with what Anne said,
# ssh-keygen2 -P /etc/ssh2/hostkey
and after that it worked. Maybe the hostkey that the rpm created is
somehow screwed up? Well anyway, thank you so much everyone for your
help.
