-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- greeting to the list - i administer a group of shell servers for a ISP. I just receltly installed openSSH after dealing with the other ssh programs out there. i found openssh to be the easiest ot install and the best running.....i only have one problem now... watch the session: ==============begin=========== box:kurth [kurth]$w 11:29am up 20:28, 1 user, load average: 0.02, 0.01, 0.00 USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT kurth pts/0 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX 11:01am 20:27m 1:28 0.04s w box:kurth [kurth]$write kurth ttyp0 write: /dev/0: No such file or directory box:kurth [kurth]$ ==============end============ with the other ssh programs we were able to use <write> with no problems. i tried linking /dev/ttyp0 to /dev/0 and that seemed to work..then i saw how many links i had to do and said "fcsk it". Can anyone recommend a workaround?
