MAC error

Hello
    I have just installed ssh-23.0 on a Solaris box. ssh from this box
to all other linux boxes is ok. However when I try ssh from a linux box
(with ssh-2.3.0 too) I've always got:

    warning: Authentication failed.
Disconnected; MAC error (Message authentication check fails.)


    and no connection.

    What am I missing here?
