Hi all,
we are using ssh 2.3.0 on a bunch of computers (primarily Sun Solaris 7
and SGIs IRIX 6.5). We always use ssh to connect between them and tunnel
X11 connections. Once in a while, ssh will die and kill with it all active
sessions with the following:

FATAL: sshreadline.c:1778 SshReadLine (function name unavailable)
Precondition failed: rl

Nothing else. No clear behavior here, sometimes it takes 2 hours,
sometimes 2 days before a connection will fail. We're on a local ethernet
and there have been no failure that I know of.

Has anybody else encountered this?

Also, is there any clear date on the next release of ssh the is supposed
to fix the compatibility problem between ssh and openssh ?
