Idle Timeouts?

Is there anyway to set an idle timeout in SSH?  A lot of users on my system
tend to leave their machines connected, and I would it to automatically log
them out after a certain period of inactivity.  Is this possible? I'm trying
to avoid have to write a cron script to do this.
