After compiling & configuring SSH 2.4 on our HPUX 10.20 box, I was able to get a successful connection form client to server, but after exiting I do who -u and I get a line that reads as follows... "user pts/0 Jan 29 16:43 0:05 9628 remotehost -" I know for a fact that I'm not connected and doing a ps -ef | grep 9628 returns nothing. Could there be a problem with the way I configured SSH on my sever? I was told by HP that my utmp file was corrupt.
