Port forward general question

I'm forwarding local (Win 2K machine) port 2401 (pserver) to an OpenSSH 2
server. I can connect after issuing:

ssh -L 2401:ssh_server_name:2401 username@ssh_server_name

The prompt works fine. However, when I actually try to access port 2401 @
localhost, I get the error message:

Address 127.0.0.1 maps to win-machinename, but this does not map back to the
address - POSSIBLE BREAKING ATTEMPT!

How do I configure OpenSSH to accept port forwards?
